URI -II — 240 MW Hydroelectric

Ranked as the 425th largest power generation facility in India, the URI -II hydroelectric power plant stands out in the region for its significant contribution of 240 MW to the national grid. Commissioned in 2013, this facility is strategically located in a country that predominantly relies on coal for energy, making URI -II a crucial player in diversifying India’s energy portfolio.
