It is the 6th largest hydro plant in Iceland. With 120 MW, it represents 6.27% of Iceland’s total hydro capacity of 1,913 MW. Iceland has 14 hydro plants with a combined capacity of 1,913 MW. Compared to the largest hydro plant, Fljótsdalsvirkjun (Kárahnjúkar) at 690 MW, this facility is about 17.4% the size.
