Khrami I Hydroelectric Power Plant is a 112 MW hydroelectric facility located in Georgia. The plant contributes to the country’s renewable energy generation and is part of the national grid.

It is the 6th largest hydro plant in Georgia. With 112 MW, it represents 4.34% of the country’s total hydro capacity of 2,581 MW. Georgia has 16 hydro plants with a combined capacity of 2,581 MW. Compared to the largest hydro plant, Inguri Dam Hydroelectric Power Station at 1,300 MW, this facility is approximately 8.6% the size.

Hydropower is a vital part of Georgia’s energy mix, providing around 80% of the country’s electricity generation. The Khrami I plant utilizes the water resources of the Khrami River, contributing to sustainable energy production. The facility is located approximately 100 km from Tbilisi in the eastern region.
