Assiut Barrage is a 32 MW hydroelectric power plant in Egypt, commissioned in 2012.

Ranked #9 of 10 hydro plants in Egypt, it represents 0.56% of the country’s total hydro capacity of 5,664 MW. The largest hydro plant in Egypt is High Dam at 2,100 MW, making Assiut Barrage 65.6 times smaller.
