Ranked as the 82nd largest power generation facility in Pakistan, Chashma Barrage stands out as a vital contributor to the national energy landscape, producing 184 MW of hydroelectric power. As the 23rd largest hydro plant among 63 in the country, its output represents a modest yet significant 0.19% of Pakistan’s total capacity, which is dominated by hydro sources totaling 98,402 MW across 198 plants.
