Dhursar — 125 MW Solar

Dhursar is a 125 MW solar power plant located in Rajasthan, India, operated by Reliance Power since its commissioning in 2014. The facility generates electricity using solar energy, contributing to India’s renewable energy capacity.

It is the 28th largest solar plant in India. With 125 MW, it represents 0.38% of India’s total solar capacity of 33,174 MW. India has 875 solar plants with a combined capacity of 33,174 MW. Compared to the country’s largest solar plant, Bhadla solar park at 2,245 MW, this facility is approximately 5.6% the size.

Solar energy is increasingly significant in India’s energy mix, contributing to the country’s goal of achieving 175 GW of renewable energy by 2022. The Dhursar plant is located in a region with high solar irradiance, approximately 600 km from New Delhi.
