This facility ranks as the 61st largest gas plant among 99 gas plants in Canada. With its 118 MW capacity, it accounts for 0.4% of Canada’s total gas capacity of 29,357 MW. The largest gas plant in Canada, Lennox Generating Station, has a capacity of 2,140 MW, making Fort Saskatchewan about one-sixteenth its size.
