Jiamusi Zhongheng Cogen power station — 125 MW Coal

Jiamusi Zhongheng Cogen power station is a 125 MW coal-fired facility located in Jiamusi, Heilongjiang, China, operated by Jiamusi Zhongheng Cogen Co. It was commissioned in 2014 and contributes to the local and national coal power supply.

It is the 922nd largest coal plant in China. With 125 MW, it represents 0.01% of China’s total coal capacity of 1,030,281 MW. China has 1,012 coal plants with a combined capacity of 1,030,281 MW. Compared to the largest coal plant in the country, East Hope Metals Wucaiwan power station at 7,000 MW, this facility is roughly 1.8% of its size.

Coal is a primary energy source in China, providing over half of the nation’s electricity. The Jiamusi Zhongheng Cogen power station is located in a northern province, approximately 400 km from Harbin.
