Pervomaiskaya TPP — 105 MW Natural Gas

Pervomaiskaya TPP is a 105 MW gas-fired power plant located in Russia, operated by PJSC “Quadra – Power Generation”. The plant was established to support the local energy grid.

It ranks as the 184th largest gas plant in Russia. With 105 MW, it represents 0.08% of the country’s total gas capacity of 139,541 MW. Russia has 299 gas plants with a combined capacity of 139,541 MW. Compared to the largest gas plant, Surgutskaya GRES-2 at 8,865 MW, Pervomaiskaya is approximately one-eightieth the size.

Gas is a dominant energy source in Russia, providing over 50% of the total electricity generation. The facility is located in the Tula Oblast, approximately 200 km south of Moscow.
