TE MORAVA — 110 MW Coal

TE MORAVA is a 110 MW coal-fired power plant located in Serbia. The facility is among the eight coal plants operating in the country.

TE MORAVA ranks as the 8th largest coal plant in Serbia. With a capacity of 110 MW, it accounts for approximately 1.98% of Serbia’s total coal capacity of 5,568 MW. Serbia has 8 coal plants with a combined capacity of 5,568 MW. In comparison, the largest coal plant, TENT A, has a capacity of 1,730 MW, making TE MORAVA about one-sixteenth its size.

Coal is a primary energy source in Serbia, providing approximately 73% of the nation’s electricity generation. The TE MORAVA plant plays a role in supporting the country’s energy needs while utilizing domestic coal reserves. It is located around 100 km southeast of Belgrade in the central region of Serbia.
