Yunnan Baoshan Dengke is a 120 MW hydroelectric power plant located in Yunnan Province, China. It is one of the many hydro plants operated in the region, contributing to the country’s renewable energy generation since its commissioning.

This facility ranks as the 292nd largest hydro plant in China, part of a vast network of 1,000 hydro plants with a combined capacity of 313,039 MW. With its 120 MW capacity, Yunnan Baoshan Dengke represents 0.04% of China’s total hydro capacity. The largest hydro plant in the country, the Three Gorges Dam, boasts a capacity of 22,500 MW, making Yunnan Baoshan Dengke significantly smaller in comparison.
