Compared to the largest gas plant, Janub at 780 MW, Baku TEC is about one-seventh the size.<\/p>\n<p>Natural gas is a vital component of Azerbaijan&#8217;s energy landscape, providing around 41% of the country&#8217;s electricity generation.
