With 105 MW, it represents 4.86% of the country&#8217;s total gas capacity of 2,159 MW. The Czech Republic has 8 gas plants with a combined capacity of 2,159 MW. Compared to the largest gas plant, Po\u010derady at 840 MW, Hodon\u00edn is about one-eighth the size.<\/p>\n<p>Gas plays a significant role in the Czech Republic&#8217;s energy landscape, providing around 6% of the total electricity generation.
