Jordan has 25 solar plants with a combined capacity of 568 MW, while the largest facility, Quweira, stands alone at 103 MW. This makes Quweira the entirety of the solar capacity for the top-ranked plant.<\/p>\n
Solar energy is increasingly important in Jordan’s energy landscape, especially given the country’s high solar irradiation levels. The government is focusing on expanding renewable energy sources to reduce reliance on imported fossil fuels.
