Compared to the largest coal plant, East Hope Metals Wucaiwan power station at 7,000 MW, Luoyang Shoulong is about 1\/64th the size.<\/p>\n<p>Coal remains a primary energy source in China, supplying approximately 57% of the country&#8217;s electricity. The geographical conditions in Henan Province support coal mining and transportation, facilitating energy production.
