B.Grimm Power (AIE-MTP) Ltd. — 124 MW Gas Natural

B.Grimm Power (AIE-MTP) Ltd. is a 124 MW gas-fired power plant located in Thailand. This facility, which has been operational since 1998, is also operated by GLOW Group. It primarily uses natural gas to generate electricity.

Ranking as the 71st largest gas plant in Thailand, it represents 0.16% of the country’s total gas capacity of 75,424 MW. Thailand has a total of 79 gas plants with a combined capacity of 99,456 MW. Compared to the largest gas facility, Ratchaburi Power Plant at 5,135 MW, B.Grimm Power is about 2.4% the size.

Natural gas is a key component of Thailand’s energy mix, providing approximately 75% of the country’s electricity needs. The reliance on gas is supported by both domestic production and imports. B.Grimm Power is situated in the eastern part of the country, roughly 150 km from Bangkok.
