Cazenga — 185 MW Natural Gas

Located in Angola, the Cazenga power generation facility holds the distinction of being the third largest out of just 14 plants in the country, underscoring its vital role in the national energy landscape. With a capacity of 185.2 MW, Cazenga contributes approximately 9.72% of Angola’s total energy capacity of 1,904 MW, a significant share in a country where hydroelectric power is the dominant fuel source.

This gas-fired plant stands out as the leading gas facility in Angola, ranked first among the three operational gas plants in the nation.
