PESHTERA — 135 MW Hydroelectric

PESHTERA, a hydroelectric power generation facility in Bulgaria, ranks as the 4th largest hydro plant in the country and holds a significant 1.46% share of the national total capacity of 9,252 MW. With a generation capacity of 135 MW, PESHTERA is an integral part of Bulgaria’s energy landscape where coal remains the dominant fuel.
